HIQ Rolling Out Concerto Web Portal At TDHB
HIQ is currently piloting the Orion Concerto system amongst medical staff in the Tarankai Base Hospital Emergency Department.
This is a "Clinical Portal" that is used by the majority of New Zealand hospitals. It will allow TDHB to deploy better clinical functions and features in the months ahead. Concerto will also provide easier searching for patients and better access to the Electronic Discharge Summaries from the outset.
The initial rollout of Concerto throughout TDHB will be for for medical staff only. New functionality will then be added over the coming months. The initial implementation repackages existing clinical iSOFT WebPAS and Orion Electronic Discharge Summary functionality.
The Concerto rollout to all doctors will occur progressively over the next 8 weeks:
- Up to the 12th of February the rollout will be confined to the Emergency Department doctors.
- From the 14th of February all RMOs will given access and IT support provided in clinical areas. Many RMOs will have already used Concerto.
- From the 28th February all SMOs will be progressively given access over a period of weeks. IT support will be provided within clinical areas.
At all times access to iSOFT WebPAS will continue uninterrupted.
Further information will be made available once the initial piloting of the system has been successfully completed.
