HIQ Rolling Out Concerto Web Portal At TDHB

HIQ is currently piloting the Orion Concerto system amongst medical staff in the Tarankai Base Hospital Emergency Department.

This is a "Clinical Portal" that is used by the majority of New Zealand hospitals. It will allow TDHB to deploy better clinical functions and features in the months ahead. Concerto will also provide easier searching for patients and better access to the Electronic Discharge Summaries from the outset.

Patients coming into hospital should bring all their current medications with them. And now, with IT support from HIQ, the Taranaki DHB is making it easier for them to remember.

The DHB’s Medicines Reconciliation Project is set to reduce medication errors, improve efficiencies and provide safer transcribing.

HIQ launches Drupal based website

Drupal LogoHIQ has launched its new look Drupal website. Drawing on its own in-house expertise, the site was developed to promote HIQ and support features needed for their web presence such as multimedia and flash. Drupal was the chosen technology as HIQ already has experience in Drupal, and the modular design of the Drupal system allows a great deal of room for expansion and new features.
